Logistics & Supply Chain Manager | Retail

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the Logistics department and work with the operations and delivery team to secure the highest goods availability for customers at all times at the lowest possible cost

  • Accountable for the logistic capacity in the store, to include space, equipment, and people, as a part of the supply chain capacity

  • Accountable for overall availability, quality of and service operations, follow up of performance and costs of operations

  • Monitor the Logistics department's performance in order to take relevant actions to achieve the goals for growth, budget and performance in the store business plan and logistics action plan

  • To study, prepare and be certified Custom Declarant so as to manage the submission of Customs Declaration Via TradeNet system

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in strong leadership in managing, leading, and developing a team, preferably gained in a retail, duty-free or Logistics environment

  • Have the interest in retailing and supply chain Logistics with a strong desire to maximize turnover, creating profit and improving customers’ shopping experience

  • Experience of setting and implementing action plans, setting budgets, and following up goals

  • Analytical and able to make objective decisions based on monitoring and reviewing of the logistics system and other available information

  • Able to commit to work on shift duties, public holidays and weekends when required

  • Strong knowledge of international logistics, import/export, freight-forwarding and third-party warehousing is critical to the success of this role
